Summary:

This was a good premier to the Real Day Preppers video series, there was discussion of different preparedness topics and why prepping is an activity that reasonable people can engage in. The series shows promise, I am going to stay tuned for new episodes of real day preppers, and I suggest that, you stay tuned also!

LowbuckPrepper has started a new project known as Real Day Preppers, this online series is LBS’s answer to National Geographic’s television show Doomsday Preppers. The goal of Real Day Preppers is to present how preppers are actually living their lives, without presenting a spin or sensationalizing the topic of prepping.

In the First Episode of Real Day Preppers, LBP interviews two preppers Matthew and Evelyn, from Arizona who identify themselves as Homestead Prepper AZ, the couple goes over how they are raising goats and learning different skills to sustain themselves in everyday life and in the case if SHTF. The wife in the couple also works at the LDS cannery, which means that she helps other people become more prepared through her help at the cannery. They also go over their future plans as preppers, to raise Jersey Cows, and miniature Angus cows. The couple also discusses moving toward raising rabbits and pigs as a food source.

The couple being interviewed also points out that they are currently renting where they are living, they point out to renters that holding-off on prepping because you are renting is not a good idea.

Check-Out, Real Day Preppers, Episode One (Embedded Below).
